Karthik Nachiappan

Prior to joining the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore, Dr. Nachiappan was an advisor to UNDP (United Nations Development Program) China’s South-South Cooperation programme. He holds a PhD in South Asian Studies from King’s College London and Honours BA in Public Policy and Politics from the University of Toronto.

His research focuses on India’s approach toward multilateral institutions and global governance with emphasis on issues like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data protection, climate change and global health.
