Salomé Jashi is a documentary filmmaker from Georgia. After working as a reporter for several years, she studied documentary filmmaking at Royal Holloway, University of London (2005). Upon her return to Georgia, she founded the production company Sakdoc Film (www.sakdoc.ge). Alongside her filmmaking, Jashi was active in CAUCADOC, a project that supported the development of the documentary filmmaking scene in the South Caucasus. She teaches at international workshops and splits her time between Tbilisi and Berlin.
