Timur Ohloff currently serves as Senior Policy Advisor at Mobility Institute Berlin. Previously, he was a policy officer at the State Chancellery of Brandenburg and a consultant with McKinsey & Company, serving clients in the public and social sectors. He holds a bachelor’s in North American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin, during which he was a visiting student at Duke University, and a master’s in politics from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes scholar. He gained initial work experience through internships at the German Embassy in Washington, the Office of then-Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the parliamentary group of Alliance 90/The Greens in the Bundestag.

As a policy fellow, Timur Ohloff is linked to the EU/North America Division and is working on progressive ideas for a reorientation of transatlantic relations.
