Abdul Wahed Zia Moballegh, Program Manager and Researcher of Yaar . e.V. worked previously as a senior program officer at Heinrich Boell Stiftung in Berlin and before that as local country director of (HBS in Kabul). In these capacities, he managed the establishment of the Afghan organizations’ umbrella in Germany and supported some initiatives by Civil Society on transitional justice, facilitating ICC intervention in Afghanistan and women ‘s rights and peace process, the quota for the women in the parliament and reform of laws. He has written some books in Dari language on human and women’s rights and some manuals for NGOs.
